Shiny whites

I am after some tips on how to remove tartar from my Lurcher’s teeth. Can you help?

  1. I can highly recommend natural antler chews, such as StagBar. Not only do they keep teeth sparkling white, they provide months of chewing enjoyment for your dog. Team this with regular teeth brushing and you should start to see some improvements!

  2. A raw carrot a day keeps my Border Terrier's teeth perfectly pearly white! I have had many compliments on his teeth! You could also brush your dog's teeth as an alternative, or use Plaque-Off Products, such as this healthy Seaweed version -http://www.petsathome.com/shop/plaque-off-animal-seaweed-by-proden-32941?cm_re=barilliance-_-up%20sell-_-product%20details

  3. Feed a raw diet. The bones and meat don't stick to the teeth. You have a very healthy dog and vet bills are a thing of the past

  4. I feed my dog a raw meaty bones diet :) In my opinion, teeth brushing for dogs is a man made solution for a man made problem, and just doesn't cut it. Ripping and tearing meat as well as the crunching of the bone keeps them sparkling.

  5. We have had almost no problems with our dogs teeth over the years even with 15 and 16 year olds , the secret = a raw diet and butchers bones . We have never used any so called specialist teeth cleaning treats or dog toothpaste and have even had vets remarking on how good their teeth have been at their age
