I’ve been on a quest for an explanation for years as to why my crossbreed, Madi, barks and growls at the moon. Can anyone shed any light on it? She is at her most active when the moon is in the ‘waxing crescent’ phase.
I’d be fascinated if anyone could tell me why this is!

Barking at the moon
Madi (my collie cross) is driving me berserk - barking at the moon! It's not always, but when the moon is gibbous she's very bad - barking and jumping around, eyes fixed on it. It is as if she fears it.
Why do dogs bark at the moon? And why only when it is in certain phases?
