You can't put a Corso in a Corsa!

Our Corso Neo is outgrowing the space in the back of our Kia Cee'd rapidly and it is very difficult to decide on which car would be best for him (and us). You can get an idea of scale from the following photo!

What cars do other readers with large dogs recommend?
Richard Horsfield

Are there any car manufacturers who woudl let Neo test drive their vehicles - Richard is a very talented photogrpaher and we woudl love to feature his experiences!

  1. We have a Volvo V40 estate but our Deerhound sits on the back seat with the help of a duvet and one of these inflatable seat extenders (aka footwell filler.) It basically fills the gap where rear passengers feet would go and means she can lie down however she wants without falling into the gap. The link below is the cheapest we found these anywhere - other companies want £50-£60 for the exact same product.

  2. We have a Golden Retriever and have a Volvo V70 - (its big enough then for when we get our second!) In fact we even bought the car with getting a dog in the back of our minds and 2 years later - hey presto! :-)) Can get a really nice boot liner too for it so taht it keeps the car some kind of clean - and super handy if your dog is sick in the boot - as ours has been twice now!

  3. My Komondor can curl up safe and sound in my Citroen C4 Picasso.
You can also put the middle seat down and allow air con to flow right thru on those hot days.
