In the dark

A few years ago I bought a flashing collar for my Golden Retriever for autumnal and winter evenings which broke earlier this year. No idea where I got it from in the first place so can you recommend a good replacement I can use to keep Bailey visible?

  1. I prefer a harness with reflective piping. Much less likely to get lost :-) The EzyDpg range is good and really does shine in the dark http://www.dfordog.co.uk/ezydog-harnesses-classic.html

  2. As an alternative, high visibility/reflective collars, harnesses and jackets work well. I have a coat for my Border Terrier, which is high vis orange, and includes a silver reflective strip for fastening him into the coat. As an extra, the coat has a removable fleece inside the waterproof outer coat. These products will help keep your dog visible and protected. 3. Hi, I have 2 goldies and use the trixie reflective and flashing collars. If its particularly dark, I also use a blinker attached to the d-ring (watch out for cheap blinkers tho). cheers, anna

  4. I bought a Leuchtie Led Light Collar for my Golden Border Collie which is absolutely brilliant. I have tried others but they are never bright enough when you have a really hairy dog but this one is so bright it lights up where he is going! It is also waterproof, comes in a big range of colours and is guaranteed for 2 years and you can buy spares for it too. I got it from www.leuchtie.co.uk
