Too much of a good thing?

I saw advertised in the January edition of Dogs Today, 3mega supplement (page 8)

I thought of getting some for my two-year-old Golden Retriever.

Can a dog have too much omega 3 ?

Thanks,

  1. Omega 3 fatty acids (and Omega 6) are essential for your dogs health.Pets with allergic, auto-immune, or inflammatory conditions need more Omega 3 fatty acids. Pets with chronic illnesses need more Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 3 is a great supplement for your dog, however, too much of anything isn't a great thing either. Talk to your vet and they can advise you on the right way to go when it comes to Omega 3 supplements.
