Time for a winter coat

Dear Dogs Today

Does anyone know where I can find a waterproof coat for my two Corgis that has a zip on the back? They are so low to the ground and it is quite wet at this time of year, but I'm having trouble finding a waterproof coat.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful!

Thank you
Mrs Fergusson, Isle of Man

  1. Barking Mad Clothing do doggie trouser suits that have legs and zips. I had one for my collie and it has outlasted him.

  3. Equafleece are quite good, and you can choose to have a zip put in, I have one of theirs they are www.equafleece.co.uk also seen some on the internet, ebay etc or some pet websites. Some with fleeces inside.

They are made to fit you will be told how to measure.

  5. Cosipet do a good range of step-in dog coats which zip up at the back, including a quilted, shower-proof version and a lightweight one that can be folded to fit in your pocket. They're also very reasonably priced. I have a similar coat for my whippet and it works really well.

You can get the coats from a number of websites including the NetPetShop (www.netpetshop.co.uk).

  6. They don't have a zip in the back, but Hurtta do a lovely cosy jacket that has a tummy cover; it has a clasp to keep it fastened over the back.
