Park and ride
I am after a dog pram for my Border Collie, who can walk, but only for about 15 minutes. Does anyone know of any companies I can source a stroller from? Dianne Evans, by email
Hi Diane, I think dog strollers are a great invention, perfect for older or disabled dogs. The mental stimulation has to be a good thing.

Or ask around to see if anyone has an old-fashioned pusher you can have, car boot sales are another idea. Make sure your dog is securely fastened in with a dog harness/seat belt though.
Thank you for your advise but I am struggling with the length of the strollers v the length of Patch when led down. I have emailed a couple of UK based companies so hopefully they will be able to help. Thanks once again.
Hi Dianne, Have you found a solution for your border collie yet? I've got a 19-month Welsh Springer Spaniel that had to have an operation recently and was housebound for 6 weeks, but hated being left behind when I took his brothers out for a walk, so I got him a stroller - the one I got was the Pet Gear AT3 All Terrain Stroller from Pet Planet - it's been fine to use in the fields and on flat sand (a recent beach holiday), and he can either sit up or lie down in it. I'm guessing your border collie may be slightly bigger than a Welshie, but should still be OK. My Welshie weighs 17.5kg and the stroller will take up to 22kg. Try Roof Box - but you might need a mortgage to cover the cost, I think they're around the £300 mark....
